The closure of Google Play Music?
It was a big negative surprise for the music world and also for millions of users.
In October 2020 Google Play Music closes its doors leaving many musicians and fans on foot. Also including Karaoketop! Who used this service to sell the backing tracks.
Strange, but you can still easily guess why: the downloads weren't selling well and it seems that streams got the better of it. It is no coincidence that now Google Play Music continues its streaming-only activities on Youtube Music.
Fortunately, there are other alternatives. Karaoketop currently sells the backing tracks in several other digital markets, the first ever being Itunes.
After the closing of Google Play Music, Karaoketop would like to report another reliable digital market, suitable for the purchase of our backing tracks. As an alternative aimed at those who do not want to install Itunes and probably all Android and PC users, Karaoketop recommends QOBUZ.
How to reach Qobuz? On the pages of each backing track, as always, you will find all the direct links to Itunes, Qobuz, Spotify and Deezer. Certain titles have not yet been updated but will soon be. In the meantime, for those who have urgency and do not prefer Itunes, we remember the direct link to the Karaoketop catalog on Qobuz: https://www.qobuz.com/it-it/label/karaoketop-1/download-streaming-albums/226925
